A Community garden of a different kind. Five adjoining properties linked by gates, growing nearly 500 varieties of fruit, and a small nursery with low cost plant sales to help maintain them.

Due to a prior engagement I am not able to attend the open garden fundraiser for the Pinnery Fire Fund.
However if it will be of any help, I am happy to donate chops for the fund raiser BBQ from our Bags of Love pantry- I may also be able to get bread for you.
I run a not-for profit in Sampson Road Elizabeth Grove, so if possible I would like to be able to leave some business cards to promote our Bags of Love Op Shop as well.
Hi Rosemary Sorry to take a while to get back to you. I’ve had major computer issues and also fell in a bit of a heap after the OG. It was very successful though and we raised about $2500 for the Pinery bushfire appeal. Thank you for your donations which were much appreciated. I was wondering whether you wanted the plastic crates back. I can drop them off to you if you name a time or you can come here. If you don’t need them, I am sure we can make good use of them but I would expect that your suppliers would like to see them back. Thank you for supporting our Event. Kind regards
Rosanne
Hi Rosanne,
the crates don’t need to come back, use them as needed.
I am glad that the donations was of help: we are all in this community and must do what ever we can to help each other.
The $2,500 will go a long way for the people of the Pinery bushfire.
Yours in service
Rosemary
Hi Joe.
Would this weekend be a good time for me to pop down and chat about your gardens in a bit more detail?
Hi Malcolm Sorry I did not get back to you right away. I don’t visit her every day like I do with the FB page and I haven’t been well. Saturdays are the best time to catch up with Joe so let us know what works for you. Kind regards

Hi Elaine The next open garden won’t be until February next year. We can arrange private visits for people like yourself but prefer there is a small group as we are time poor and I am sure you appreciate we cannot give everyone a private tour. Saturday is the best day.
Kind regards
